Ecotourism product of nature protected areas

"Ecological education and ecotourism development at nature protected areas" seminar was organized by Zapovedniki ecocenter.
Invited specialists gave lectures on
- theoretical (Alexander Drozdov from the Institute of Geography, Russian Academy of Sciences),
- legal (Vsevolod Stepanitsky from State Politics and Regulations in Environmental Protection and Ecological Safety Department, Ministry of Natural Resources),
- practical (Nadezhda Podoplekina, Ecological Education and Ecotourism department of Kenozero national park) aspects of the issue.
Ecological Travel Center shared experience of producing, promoting and selling ecological tours.
The students came from Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan protected areas. Russian protected areas were represented by Stolby and Ubsunurskaya Kotlovina reserves, Prielbrusie and Ugid-Va national parks.
