Unknown species of crocodile was discovered in Plesheevo lake.
Fishermen from Krikushino village, situated on Plesheevoo lake shore in National Park "Plesheevo lake" have informed scientists of the Park that they have noticed terrible 3-meters long monster floating by their boat in the morning. The scientists were rather sceptical about this fact untill other locals have seen the monster too in a few days. Inhabitants of the village were almost panic and afraid to approach the lake and were about to leave their settlement.
The Park's management have organised scientific expedition to the lake to research the phenomenon. In two days of search the scientists have discovered unknown species of Crocodile, creeper fisheater, family Gavialis sp. Gavial, who got name Gava from the locals, is very friendly and aiming to communicate with humans, eat fish and insects. Scientists still have a number of questions, how Gava have reached our climatic zone, unusual for this type of animals and if there are other crocodiles in the lake? The search in the lake and the research of the catched Gavial is continuing. We'll try to keep you updated on the results.
