A group of young naturalists from Finland made in June-July 2000 an excursion along the river Yenisey from Kasnoyarsk to Dudinka and further on to Norilsk and to the Lake Melkoe.
We made five stops in five different types of nature. The idea was to study the Forest step, the South Taiga, the Middle Taiga, the North Taiga and the Tundra.
ETC has played an important part in planning and in the realizing of the excursion. Beforehand we got detailed information and we got good answers on all our questions. While still planning we understood that ETC has staff that are willingly working and we felt that they are pleasant persons.
When the excursion was going on they gave various lectures, explained what we saw and answered questions without getting tired. They are perfect teachers for both young people and adults. They are English-speaking and all species of animals and plants got their names first in Latin and then in English.
Whatever we asked for the answer was "No problem" and we did not see any problems, thanks to ETC.
